I need to move all the articles from one joomla install to another. Is this possible? If they could be downloaded or in a file thats copied over... joomla 1.5.6

This is difficult. You could export them form one database, but the IDs would be different. Also, unless you "reset" their parent sections/categories to Uncategorized (or the specific section/category IDs on the new site). It's debatable whether or not you could have two browser windows open and just copy-paste articles between them and it'd be faster.

I mean its not like I have alot, there are about 20 articles... but i figured i could just export them and import them. Any extensions that might do this?severdia wrote:This is difficult. I've never seen an extension that does this. But you could copy/paste 20 articles in 5-10 minutes.
