com_migrator fatal error writeFile() line 269

Using the latest com_migrator v1.0 and am getting the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function writeFile() on a non-object in /home/mydir/public_html/administrator/components/com_migrator/admin.migrator.php on line 269

have tried deleting all caches but doesn't make any difference. Using Joomla 1.0.15. A 39MB SQL dumpfile is created but I suspect that this is flawed from the error.

Any ideas?

Jimspice, damn, I must of resolved this somehow as I've now migrated to 1.5. I really can't remember what I did to resolve it. From memory I might of dumped my db and then reloaded the data but I'm not sure.

As the file finishes with "SQL Footer", I assume that all the data has been written (perhaps in fclose line 270).

However, I had an second error: during importation I got:

MySQL: Duplicate entry '1' for key 1

To resolve this, empty / delete your already imported table and do it again, with the following preferences:
* it is an "1.0 migration script" - click to activate this
* it's prefix is always "jos_" - even if your old joomla installation had something different.

I just had the same problem. There is an option "Purge Migrator Tasks" I clicked that then tried again.

Worked for me.

I just had the same problem, but I used the migrator_com v.5.0 and I didn't have more problems.
