A friend of mine upgraded his Joomla based website from 1.5.23 to 1.5.26 using the upgrade called 1.5.0X - 1.5.26 After upgrading the website seems to work fine, but when he logs on to the admin panel he gets a blank page.
He asked me to help him solve the issue as he doesn't speak much English.

I suspect that he used the wrong upgrade package and that some file got overwritten that shouldn't or that there is an issue with the web hotel he is using.

Thanks. I don't know what the reason for the issue was, but I manually uploaded all the files for akeeba again and it started to work. Unfortunately joomla had not been updated, so I will have to do this for my friend.
