Hi everyone,
As I'm new here, this is probably a daft question - apologies in advance!
Have members found problems in migrating sites built using Dreamweaver (Studio MX) to Joomla?
Thanks

There is no migration from a static site to joomla. doesn't matter if you coded it with dreamweaver or notepad. You'll have to create a joomla template or use one that's already built and then copy you content into joomla articles and link to menu.

So, my site I built in dreamweaver(even if its php?) before I found out about joomla cannot be edited in Joomla?

What I really would like to do with Joomla is get a forum for my site and use some of the modules.

This is my site at the moment
empressteta.com

In the upper right corner, I would like have something for login/registration

so people can login to the site interact with forums I want to build and news/blog articles we post.

Many Thanks

It shouldn't be too difficult to convert your page to a Joomla template, check the Joomla Docs for info and you can use the templates that come with Joomla as examples.
For your forum you can pick one of the forums that have a bridge extension available so you can integrate it right into your Joomla site. You can create a Joomla page in a blog format and then add an extension like jComment to allow others to comment on your posts.
