I took the backup of my joomla web site to another folder. I had to install a new template and make a lot of changes to the site.
I am now working on the backup and problem is with the backup only.
When i try to open the articles for editing they open in blank page in the administrator panel.

Frontend is opening without any problems

What can be the solution. The config file was also changed to work with the backend.

both the main site and the backup site have different databases.

Typically an editor issue is a problem with an extension that adds a button to the editor.

You should enable Error Reporting to maximum in your Global Configuration settings to see if you get a php error message that helps narrow down the cause of the problem.
