Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end

Hello,

I am trying to create a development site on my computer using wamp server and when I tried to click my project I got this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in C:\wamp\www\crmscom_dev\modules\mod_mainmenu\helper.php on line 445

From what I have read, this error most likely might be a syntax but I can't figure out what is missing because line 445 is the end of the file. Can someone please help me figure out where the error might be?

The file may got truncated.

Are you running 1.5.26 and what version of php do you have?

My company is still using joomla 1.5.17 I believe and I am trying to upgrade it to 1.5.26 but I want to see how the upgrade is going to look with the development site first. I am using php version 5.3.13 because I was having a problem running the development site with the most recent version of wamp and php.

I also tried to upload the file to my computer again from ftp just in case the file may have been corrupted from the original transfer but it's still showing the same error.

Do the update to 1.5.26 and see if the site starts to work.

Unzip the Package and upload to the site. It will not change the look of your site, unless you have modified core files.

The file in the 1.5.26 Package is different.

I was actually able to get my development site to work with the upgraded files. Two of the files were corrupted which was why I was getting the error. I upgraded to 1.5.26 and hid the module that was corrupted. Was able to get my development site running. Now to fix the issue with my corrupted files but thanks for your help!
