Moving from one web hosting to another hosting

I'm using Joomla v1.5.14
I'm trying to move my current web hosting to GoDaddy.
I have followed the guide from Joomla how to move the current hosting to new hosting location.

1. All file has been download from the current server and uploaded to GoDaddy.
2. Export database from the current hosting location and import to GoDaddy hosting location.
3. Updated the configuration.php file and point to new database.

The problem that I'm facing right now is that I can go to the website but the first page which is the index.php page went all blank, I check the element, the <head> and <body> tag is empty.
I can logon to the administrator page and I can see all the articles and data.

Does anyone know why the index page is blank and didn't show anything ?

You will need to see the php error log to determine what went wrong. Also check the file permission to ensure nothing is at 777

Check for any php.ini file you may have copied over from the old server, rename it and test if you have one. Rename the .htaccess file and set SEF to 0 in your configuration.php file and then test. Could be you have server specific lines in your htaccess file that do not work on the new server.
