Hi all

I need to set up my site in a way that I allow access to some members of the group for them for example to enter events in the calendar, or create a new Newsletter. I do not want any user to register.

I would lile to set up the accounts myself. How do they log in?

If I understand you right: you want to set up user accounts yourself, then send the log in info to users?

You can set them up in the user manager back end, if you allow system messages they will get the reg email anyway - or set system messages to no and manually email them.

Then leave the log in box on front end, but disable the "registration" option.

That way you can control who has a login account and who doesn't.

Hope that helps.
