text does not show correctly

I have a site running joomla 1.5
my template has 4 columns
on the second column I keep the articles.

I have the following problem.
when a line is more than the width of this column, the text does not wrap to another line. it just disappears

how I would solve this problem

Without being able to see the website, or at least a screenshot, I'm going to guess that the template may be styled so that white-space is set to nowrap and overflow is hidden.

I have sort it out.
The problem had to do with "garbage" coming when the user was copying/paste from word to the articles.
This was causing the text that overflow not to be displayed.

I would like to know if anybody has similar issues, and if there is a way to remove all the "garbage" when the user is using the Microsoft word?

Personally, I drop my text into Notepad first. Some editors (JCE) have a "Paste from Word" button, which strips out all of the nonsense that comes with Word docs.

I'm also using the Notepad but the user mess it up.

In the extension JCE Editor (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... ditors/jce), there is an option to Paste as Plain Text which will come handy to paste text copied from Word Document.
