Greetings,

I want to move the "Login/User" module to the right side of the screen.

I also want to remove the "Top Module" om the right completely.

Unfortunately, try as I might, I can't get either situation done.

I would greatly appreciate any support. Thank you.

First of all welcome to the forum!

Go to Extensions > Module Manager and click on the name of the module you want to modify and change the 'Position'.

Mine is a slightly different problem.

The list for position doesn't drop down. It doesn't move at all. I've tried Firefox, IE and Opera, no joy.

Have you declared the positions that you want/need in your templateDetails.xml file?

Hi there, I know this is an old thread, but I'll try it anyways.
I'm still fairly new to this game, but I'm starting to get a firm grasp on what's going on and hacking code to fit my needs.

I've pulled up my templateDetails.xml file and defined some extra positions, but when I assign a module to that position nothing shows up. I imagine I have to assign the position somewhere?

Any help would be great, here's a link to my 'first' Joomla! project:

hi all!!!

my problem also is slightly different, I mean, any of the positions available in the template are not suitable to load a module in the position I whish.
It is possible to set a new position in a concrete height and weight ?
my website is http://www.funhelps.com
