this works with jomsocial profile types as well? or only with Joomlaxi's profile types?

actually i want to keep it for a particular profile type where the user will register the account and admin will get a notification and admin will call them, verify the person and verify the account manually and the user will get a notification (Your profile is approved.....) and he can access his account.

how can this be done? thank you

FYI. Both solutions mentioned here - JoomlaXI's Admin Approval and Infograf's Multilingual Registration Approval plugins - work only with the core Joomla 1.5.X registration system (com_users).

For any other 3pd extension using its own registration system, like JomSocial, VirtueMart, etc, you'll have to ask their developers in their respective support forums.
