Website shows IP instead of URL... Help!!!

Someone please help me,
I've been struggling with this problem for a long time.
The website is hosted on a machine right next to me, it has a static IP
But the problem is that when you input the domian name of the site (www.streamphony.com) it shows
the IP address of the website. I dont know what to do since I this is the first time that I'm hosting a site from a machine in the past I've always used hosting services.

You have to properly setup the DNS for the site and domain name. I don't know what your machine is running so I can't really further instruct in that aspect.

Its running Apache and mysql on CentOS,
I think that the DNS is configured properly as after entering the URL, it automatically gets converted to the IP/Folder_name. SO its redirecting properly but why does the IP change automatically ?
Any suggestions?

what version of apache, mysql?
