Toolbar doesn't work in JCE 154 editor running Joomla 1.5.14

Running Joomla 1.5.14 with JCE 154 editor and after not making any changes to site in about 3 months, I tried to add some info to an article and the toolbar functions SAVE or ADD or CLOSE don't work. I have to back arrow out of the page. I tried changing editor back to TinyMice and could accomplish that in User Manager / Administrator, where the Toolbar worked. Although going to TinyMice didn't change the Toolbar problem when opening an Article. Only thing I can think of that has changed on computer since last change was upgrading to Internet Explorer 9. Any thoughts?

By looking at other posts in other treads I have seen that IE9 has a problem with my editor JCE so I'm going to change editors as suggested.

IE9 have a lot of problems. Change browser. Use Opera or Firefox. Upgrade Joomla to 1.5.26 and JCE to 1.5.7
