How do you change the Date

I live in the GMT -8:00 time zone the problem is that on my website will show the next day when i'm still in the day before. For example on moday at 9:00 pm (my time) the date will change to tommorrows date, so it's almost that the time settings are adjusted to 3 hour ahead the only problem is that my system time zone is set to my GMT -8:00 time zone. What do I do?

Hmm...I don't quite get you.

As long as you set the right GMT at local settings (Time Zone) correctly at the Global configurations, under server tab, then you shouldn't have any problem.

It is set to the right time zone, but in the evenings i still get the next day's date on the website
