copy/paste issues

Hello, I am new to Joomla and am updating a page created by someone else.
Twice now, I have copied a "table" from a word document onto a page on the site and it has turned the whole page into some type of page that links to accelerators, etc. I cannot edit, change or delete anything on the page now both from the page directly in edit mode or from Administration Article Manager. How can I delete the content but not the page and start over? Thanks.

No, I was on the page itself in as admin.

Try viewing the page using IE as your browser, typically when you paste directly from Word, IE is the only browser that can view the page correctly. Next time check if your Article editor has a "Paste from Word" button, that will strip out the unwanted Word code.

Thanks - that will help in the future. In the meantime, how do I delete what is on the page so I can re-edit. The page itself (not the site) is frozen and I cannot change, add, delete...do I need to delete the whole page and create a new one?

Yes, I would delete the page/article and re-create it, use the "Paste from Word" option if you are copying and pasting from a Word Doc.
