Mod_latestnews not showing menu from home page

Hello,

I have used mod_latestnews in the left postition with few articles.

on the main home page/front page, the link in the place is
/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=100%3Averticals&catid=37%3Aour-solutions
>>>>[with this link the article is shown without the left side menu]

On all other pages I can see the same working link as
/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=100%3Averticals&catid=37%3Aour-solutions&Itemid=206
>>>>[with this link the article is shown with the left side menu]

i wonder why this is happening since i am using the same left side module on each page..
how to add the "&Itemid=206" part to the links?
please help
