About user inscription to events

Hi there, I'm the webmaster of an ONG's website. I need some help.

I have already managed to put some extra fields on the registration form in order to register people as volunteers of this ONG.

Now what I need is to, in certain arcticles, display a button to let the user choose to go to certain event discribed on this arcticle. When pressing this button, a confirmation page must be opened, and if confirmed his inscription, a confirmation email should be sent to him, but also another email should be sent to administrator, for me to know who has decided to go to which event.

I'm actually lost, don't know where to start... any ideas? Thank you very much and please accept my apologies for my english, I'm from Argentina.
