Default different register level?

Default different register level?

Right now my default is set as "registered"

but my site is based off of user generated content and i need it to be defaulted as "author"

can someone please help.

i really don't want to change ever registration for the rest of my life. :(

Its simple. Follow these steps:
1. Click on "Global Configuration".
2. Click on "System" Tab.
3. In "User Settings", choose option "New User Registration Type" to be anything you like. In your case its: "Author".

That's all.
