changes made to php.ini not reflected.

Hi all,
i made changes in the /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini file to increase the max_upload_size but these changes are not reflected when i see the details of phpinfo().
why is so. plz reply.

Did you restart the Apache server process?
Freedom of expression ... some may try to suppress it but they can never take it away ...
There is no problem a good miracle can't fix.
