Notification to publishers of new article

I've updated the plugin to inform the author of the article when one's article is edited by an admin.

I really like your plugins. but the modified author doesn't reflect the last modified author or person. Is there way you can include the last modified person as currently it shows the creator not the last modified person.

This is the email I got when someone modify an article which is already published. Instead of the username of person who modified the last, it shows the username of the creator. So irrespective of who modify the article, it shows the creator's username.

is there a way we can show the username/name of the last modified person. I need this feature as I have many administrator on my site and wanted to track who worked on the article.

I installed teh above zip package and my site when down after I enabled the plugin,never even got to test it.
If I try to disable it wil take me to a 500 error page. Any ideas. Got to get back to restoring my frontend it is all down now.

The component is cool but i have a problem. Emails are being sent to spam folder. With other components, acymailing, jcomments, etc emails are being sent to the inbox normally. Can you help me? Thanks

For my website i am very interested in this tool, but.... i have installed joomla 1.7 and apparently the plugin is not fit for this version.
Is anyone of you prepared to upgrade the plugin to a joomla 1.7 version?

Gr8 works by all the contributors, but i used this component with "Simple Content Versioning" component, the article edit stops and hits the error for while inserting into the table.
i am trying it at my end but is any one know how resolve the conflict the much appreciated guys.

You have to modify the plugin core file to change it. In the next version I plan to introduce custom mail body. But I plan to release the next version since April and have not manage to find enought free time for the development.

There is function buildMail in notifyarticlesubmit.php (search in content plugins).

Besides, you can use Joomla language overrides for J2.5 to change text, but not the body structure. This may be enough

I had the same issue. NotifyArticleSubmit is changing $article when it runs. It adds a "slug" field on line 939/943 of notifyarticlesubmit.php:

$link	= ContentHelperRoute::getArticleRoute($this->article->slug, $this->article->catid);

The "slug" field seems to not be needed anywhere else. Here is revised code that uses a local variable instead of a field:

$link	= ContentHelperRoute::getArticleRoute($slug, $this->article->catid);

Alternately, you could edit Simple Content Versioning version.php, and

1. clear the "slug" field before the call to $doc->store() on line 248, OR
2. add a slug field to the database structure

I think, however, that changing NotifyArticleSubmit is the simpler fix.
