Can't edit module - Fatal error: Out of memory /menu.php

Hi All,

I am not a Joomla newb, I have been tinkering and playing with Jommla for some time however a couple of days ago i came across the following problem:

Joomla site works fine both front and back end - apart from I am unable to edit modules or create new modules! When I click on the module I get a blank page. I turned on the php error repotring and got this message

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 29622272) (tried to allocate 3649 bytes) in /home/sites/fluckyfuga.co.uk/public_html/libraries/joomla/html/html/menu.php on line 149

I have searched google and Joomla forums for a solution and found many articles like this one here http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p ... 5#p2028415

That describe adding 'memory_limit = 32M;' to php.ini and other files to adjust the memory limit of php.... However this did not solve my issue, my memory limit is now 64Mb... which is more than the what is described in the error!

However I don't fully understand the the solution....

I have tried to upload the original file Menu.php from an installation package but it made no difference! Can anyone understand the solution / fix or give me any more info... before I loose all my hair!
