Error with GK Photoslide

When trying to add a Title & Text that involve Quotation Marks "" there is an error that reads like this...
Error when adding slide...INSERT INTO #__gk_photoslide_slides SET id = DEFAULT, group_id = 1,

Also when using ' in title or text, it comes up as multiple ' marks. Is there any way to correct this problem? Thanks for the help.
