Hello,

We are using Joomla 1.5.25. We have been experiencing some issues with the Activation Mail; is not being received by new users which has been causing our website to loose a lot of new users. Also, when users try to retrieve their forgotten passwords, either no email is received with the token, and those with a token copy and paste it to the website to confirm their account, but always get a token error or wrong token error message.

I was told that updating to the newer version can fix these issues, however I have some custom coding on the website and I am scared that updating can cause the coding to be lost or malfunction. What can you advise? Any Bugfix available? Can anyone help me with this? :( :(
