Hey guys,
I have recently installed Joomla 1.5.26 on my cpanel (directly by extracting). The problem is that whenever I try to install an extension I get an error like this:

Code:
JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Unable to write entry

Warning: file_put_contents() [function.file-put-contents]: Unable to access /home/rssabz/public_html/tmp/install_4fda4ae4d64e7/assets/css/index.html in /home/rssabz/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 304

Warning: file_put_contents(/home/rssabz/public_html/tmp/install_4fda4ae4d64e7/assets/css/index.html) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/rssabz/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 304


I have to mention that tmp and log folders have 777 permissions, but when joomla creates a new folder, the permission is 755 and can change and create files. All of the needed folders have the 777 permissions and are colored green.

I have tries the following solutions:
- given the permission 777 to tmp and log folders
- manipulated the file "libraries/joomla/filesystem/folder.php" in order to make new folders with permission 777. The result is that new folders in tmp have the 777 permission but I still get the error so the source of error is not permission.
- I have tried to install from folder but I wasn't successful.

Is there any solution? I think the problem must be with php.ini is there any help?
