error??? Help

Post by mycreativeheart » Tue Jan 20, 2009 1:53 pm

Since this morning there is an error message coming up when the youth groups' site is loaded and nothing has been changed! Can someone recognize what this error is and what to do with it???
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /hermes/web06/b2749/pow.snmbcyouth/htdocs/fusion/index.php on line 97

Evedently, there has been a change in the index.php file which break PHP syntax rules at or just before line 97. How good is your PHP? The errors are quite descriptive in some cases as is the case here. Please note though that the line indicated may not necessarilly be the actuall point where the error occurred nor that the error is caused by an extra "<". It indicates where the PHP interpreter exited (which in most cases is the the source of the problem) and the stray character could be something else. Start at line 97 and move upwards.

If you have a code editer with highlight features (notepad++) it can point out the stray "<", if indeed that is the problem.

Yeah, I found it. It was hacked and a script was added. Thanks!
