Redirect Hack only affects Internet Explorer

I'm going through the recommended steps on ways to secure my site, but wondered if anyone had run into this specific redirect hack and could help?

Hack Specifics:

- It only shows up in Internet Explorer (v6-v8) Won't show in Safari, or Firefox. (thought that was strange)

- If you go directly to our website it will occasionally redirect to a couple different fake [youtube] specifically See Emma Watson Nude or Top 10 Celebrity Nudes ...

- I'm not seeing any redirect codes in my .htaccess, index.php, or template/name/index.php files

- I'm running Joomla 1.5.9 and I am updating to see if that will help.

If you've happen to run into this or something like it, any help would be great. Otherwise I'm going through the multitude of options that could be causing this.

It is very common for hacks to be specific about when they show up. Please follow the suggestion by Leo and follow the checklist to properly repair your site.
