Joomla 1.5.26 Works fine in IE, but redirects in Chrome

Post by MalinEDGE » Fri Jul 12, 2013 12:48 am

Hi, acquired a new business that has an existing Joomla 1.5.26 version. It's been hacked many times over the past two years (found many .php files with redirects, etc., also text files reading "hacked by .....". on the server.
Question is, I deleted all .php files that had redirects, checked all .htaccess files (no redirects found in these), and the site navigates to all links (articles) just fine in Internet Explorer (I use IE9), but in Firefox (v10.0.02) and Chrome (v28.0.1500.71) when you click on any hyperlink from the homepage it redirects to a blank screen. Domain is: http://www.kzfix tures.com

Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Reason: broke link. posting a complete link to an exploited site can be dangerous
