How to improve security before upgrade

Post by azraf » Fri Mar 07, 2014 6:25 am

I had a site (bbamba.info), that I lost several years ago. Few days ago, I bought another domain (http://bba-mba.net) and restore my old site.
My old site was with Joomla 1.5. I dont have enough time to do all the migration tasks, therefore, kept my code as that was before. I just upgrade the version from 1.5.10 to 1.5.23

Should I do something for not getting hacked, as I am running old version of Joomla? any suggestion?

You'd better update your Joomla 1.5.23 to the latest version in the 1.5 series: Joomla 1.5.26
And do not forget to install the security patch for Joomla 1.5.26:
