My website is infected of Malware

To Whom It May Concern,

My website is down. Joomla prompt me that my website is infected of malware.

Here is the system info of my website:

I'm out of Idea now. What can I do to make this up and running again?
Who should I contact? I'm living here in Philippines.

Please help, this is our Church website.

If you think that the notice about malware is generated by Joomla, please post the full message to the Security forum. Joomla normally does not have functions that report malware - unless one of the extensions does that.

Go to the Security forum and follow the instructions in the stickies at the top.

What do you mean by "Joomla prompt me...?" Have you received an email from "Joomla" claiming that your website is hacked? Because Joomla will never send you an email.

In any case, since your website is hacked, then you will need to do the following:

- Clean it up
- Migrate to the latest 2.5 or 3.x version
