Hi, i am using ck editor but i am puzzled at how i can stop it from rezing my writing in pt. I want it to be pix instead of pt, can anyone please help me solve this as at the moment i am having to go through it all and change it, line by line.

please write me which extension with CKEditor do you use in Joomla. Which Joomla and extension version. Please write steps to reproduce your issue.

i am using joomla 1.5
it is not telling which version of the editor i am using.
i do not do any steps, i have loaded it and when i use it, it only gives me the option in the pull down font to have the size in pt, when i want the size to be in px

You have added CKEditor manually , without any extension to Joomla ?
Or maybe you use default Joomla's editor ?

I think you should use extension for CKEditor in Joomla.
Here are extensions from CKSource (creator of CKEditor)
http://ckeditor.com/ckeditor-for-joomla
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/edition/editors/12821
There are also other extensions for Joomla which add CKEditor editor to Joomla.

not sure what you mean by adding it manually. i uploaded the component to my site and it has not given me any option to choose between px and pt

Which component did you uploaded ? Default Joomla doesn't use CKEditor.
You downloaded CKEditor as standalone application (from http://ckeditor.com/download) ?

Can you check if your problem exists on CKEditor demo site : http://ckeditor.com/demo ? In this way we will known if this is issue with editor itself or something with your Joomla installation. We still don't know what component and version do you use, so how anybody can reproduce your issue ?

thanks for that. i have just downloaded the current version. for some reason i had the old version. can you let me know if in the current version you can change line height please

I can't change anything in CKEditor core application. I can only change ckeditor for joomla component. There is possibility to customize CKEditor to use different styles. Please look at http://docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_3.x/Howto in 'Styles' section.
