RSS feeds can´t handle å ä ö in the text from iso 8859-1

Another thing about feeds in - It seems as it can´t handle å ä ö in the text when it comes from iso 8859-1. But it´s ok in the title.
Look at this to the left....

The page you are trying to access does not exist.
Please select a page from the main menu.

And the install I see there looks Joomla 1.0.x not 1.5

Yes,
I changed the install. I got a few other things which crashed the 1.5 install. Mysteriously the ownership of the files changed to server in some folders...So functions for admin couldn´t be done....

Working on this on a site where I have no visitiors...

What files you mean here? When this is done with files where ownership before was to your site user and then changed to server, I suggest that is not an Joomla issue.
When you mean files that are created during an install for i.e, this is normal when you don´t use ftp layer and php not run as cgi, most people call this www-run problem.
