Hi,

For some reason, on my main computer the browse button in the Media Manager does not work at all. I don't receive any errors, I just click the browse button and it doesn't do anything. Needless to say I am unable to upload any files to any of my Websites using my main computer. I do know that it is a computer issue and not necessarily something Joomla is causing because all of my sites work fine on other computers.

Just recently I reformatted my computer. That is when I started having the problem so I believe there must be an update or something that I haven't installed. If anyone knows what may be causing this I would appreciate any help you can provide.

Joomla Version 1.5.7

Thanks So Much!

Same exact problem. In all my browsers, but when I refresh the page I can click it before the button changes, although that barely works... and is very annoying when needing it in a specific folder. I was able to use it normally at first on this computer, and I'm not sure what exactly changed, since this on my second day of dealing with media manager so there wasn't much time for anything to have changed on my comp.

I am having the exact same problem - I hit the "browse" button and nothing happens. I am running Joomla! 1.5.7

I have JCE editor installed as well and I can't use the image upload feature even though I have installed the plug-in to repair that issue (http://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/foru ... =viewtopic)

I started having this issue when I updated my production computers, which are Macs, to Mac OS 10.5.7. Any computers still running 10.5.6 don't have this problem as well as Windows XP PCs I have tested. Must be some new security stuff in Flash anyway one positive thing to note though is that if you use and update JCE Editor to the latest version there is no problem with it's upload faculties.
