Hi,

After upgrading to the latest joomla the image alignment doesn't work. I align the picture - left or right, it shows fine in the edit window, but then when I save it does not keep the setting. what should I do?

thanx

did you check the editor plugin?

Is your editor cleaning the code?

And is the a performance problem? ;)

Thanx for the reply.

How do I check the editor code cleaning?

When I check the html code after setting the alignment the align="XXXX" is not there.

Solved:

I checked the tiny editor under the plugin manager and there is a setting there that says clean up code on save. I disabled it and it works fine.

Thanx for the hint.

Thank you both very much for this!

Not having updated my site much since 1.5.12, I hadn't done anything much with 1.5.13 or 1.5.14. However, today had to do stuff - and so was going mad trying to figure out why I could no longer edit 'appearance' or 'advanced' settings for images inserted into articles. Options which had previously been available.

What a relief to find I could open up those possibilities again with a few tweaks of the TinyMCE plugin. :D

The tip here saved me a whole load of headaches. I had previously been using a modified version of tinymce.php as a work around as I was under the impression it was a bug in the code. I hadn't realised that a simple change of the tinymce plugin parameters in the backend would do the job instead.
Thanks...
