Am getting error message
warning failed to move file.
Jfolder::create:could not create directory
unable to create destination
This happens when I try to install a template.
I get other similar messges when I do other things.
Also the main menu will show on homepage but as soon as I go to a subpage menu is in text in middle of page. This was not happening before.
website is www.correct4u.com
It is just a very small site (4 pages) to sell my house, but cant get it to work.
Also text editor is incomplete (only has a few functions) I know this because I have another webpage which has a lot more.
Any help appreciated
Thanks,
Ian.
P.S. Joomla 1.5.14

Thanks for the reply,
decided to do a total reinstall as it is a very small website, will only take 1 hr to redo.
If it happens again I will try some of the suggestions in the link above.
Looks like it might be a common bug
Cheers,
Ian.

Check you paths in config... they may be looking for a directory that isn't there.

This was happening to me when I was trying to install extensions.

I ran into this after developing sites in one domain like "testing.domain1.com" and then changed the name of the folder the site was in to "domain2.com". It also happened to me when I moved the sites on my host from shared to virtual private hosting. All my paths changed.

Double check your paths in the configuration in the backend and also in the configuration.php file.

Hope I was able to help!
