I have a problem with the menu in Joomla 1.5

Everything has worked perfectly for a long time, and suddenly the menu just disapeared.. The box is there, but not the elements. In the admin it says that the elements is there, but doesnt show in either the main page/when you log in, and in the admin panel. When i try to create a new menu, and add new elements nothing shows either..

Is there anyone who has a solution to this?

What version of Joomla! you are using?

Are you using PHP 5.3.0?

Yes, the issue is PHP 5.3.0. Joomla! 1.5.14 is not certified to work with PHP 5.3.0. You could do the following:

(a) Try the new release of Joomla! 1.5.15. You can apply the patch. Follow the instructions provided in the document http://docs.joomla.org/Upgrading_1.5_from_an_existing_1.5x_version. Alternatively, you could try the extension Update Manager for Joomla! (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/installers/9332).

(b) Try the test the version of Joomla that is patched to work with PHP 5.3.0:
http://community.joomla.org/blogs/community/990-testing-help-with-php-530.html.

(c) Try to reduce the version of PHP (e.g., 5.2.9)

Note: Make sure to test these solutions before implementing them in the live site.
