We have a version 1.5.11 site that is currently in Legacy mode

There are performance issues with some of the components that we suspect may be coming up because the site is in Legacy mode.

We've gone through the components, plugins and modules, but have been unable to determine what needs Legacy. If the site is run in native mode, we get the 'direct access is not allowed' message when attempting to access any 3rd party component based functions.

Short of uninstalling everything and reinstalling one at a time, is there a way to identify which plugin/component/module requires Legacy?

thanks

Catie

Go into the installer in the backend and then view the components, modules, and plugins and check the compatibility column which will tell you whether it requires legacy or not.

This is the confusing part. The only thing flagged as a compatibility issue (whether Legacy is on or not) is the cbpaidsubsbot plugin for Community Builder Subscriptions.

There is an author message" Lightning MultiCom SA / (runs 1.5 native too, ignore warning) " and documentation.

Neither CB nor CB Subs should require Legacy Mode to work, so I'm at at a loss what is causing this.

We need to upgrade the Joomla version anyway, wonder if there is a chance this could resolve whatever is causing the problem....

Any thoughts are welcome

Catie

We've updated this site to 1.5.15, but are still getting the 'Direct Access to this location is not allowed' error on any attempt to access any component.

Nothing is being flagged as a compatibility issue in the backend, and the components/plugins we have installed are all 1.5 native compatible.

Really need some help with this.
