Hi,
We are currently using Joomla..Our server spec is :
- 16GB RAM
- 500GB Hardisk

we created 2 VMs - one for the webserver and one for the DB server. Each VM is assigned 4GB RAM

Unfortunately, we received CPU (currently usage up to 97%) and we need to restart the server every day.. :-(

Any suggestions on this matter? Should we increase the memory for the VM? and do we need to change any settings in PHP.INI? or any other configuration files?

And how do we check queries executed by other components in Joomla?

Please.. pleasee.. we really need your expertise in this matter.

Do you have the page caching enabled? I think, u are suffering from high httpd requests. Let alone mysql. try caching, else the db is gonna suffer from a burnout.
Thats what i feel. Or may be u shud wait one of the Joomla gurus to give a more plausible response.

Hi There,
My host is threatening to suspend my sites due to CPU load. There are over 500 processes running per day. If I enable cacheing - how do I enable it forever - instead of for a number of minutes?

Thanks,
John
