Imagesized plugin for Joomla 1.5.x

Features:

Sized image for Frontpage, Categogy and Section Blogs
- Image frame border color
- Background image frame color
- Linked for sized frame image
- Image Alignment, vspace and hspace parameters
- Text Alignment
- Set number of displayed chars
- Remove class

How can I make this plugin leave my formatting alone?

I need it to leave the hard breaks and the italicized text.

I looked through the plugin file but I was lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to make the plugin only resize the first pictures of the articles and don't resize the other pics inside the articles?

And It shows links as a text if it is at intro, only when you open the full article you can see the links, is it possible to make the links seem as links (not just text)?

Read the post above yours, about the links. I fixed this issue. I will see about making it only do the first one, but again it only resizes images on the FRONT PAGE or in section/category views. So in the article it doesn't resize anything.

Mid you i didn't write this plugin so this isn't official support just someone helping out.

I use the mod and I like it.

Dear
The Image sized plug-in for Joomla 1.5.x is very useful extension. It change front page of Joomla ,make it easy .so I think you have to change its name to some thing like FrontPage articles or so.
can you added family and size of introduction text?? now in my website(ARABIC)all of it Arial10???

Hi there.

Great idea for a plugin / but I'm not certain that it's going to work for me. I've downloaded and installed it. My understanding is that it will make a thumbnail for all images ONLY within the specified sections and / or categories.

The results that I get are like this:

and a completely EMPTY page otherwise.

The latest download have an addition field in Advanced tab (named Extra CSS).

You should add this text such content "font-family: arial,....; font-size:120%;".
This Css only acts on Frontpage, Blog viewing.

Hi, I am getting an error during installation on my localhost:

"JInstaller::install: File 'C:\xampp\htdocs\joomla15\tmp\install_48bc3bb644aa6\imagesresizecache\index.php' does not exist."

I'm running Joomla 1.5.6. PHP5.2.5. Appreciate any advice on getting past this first step. Thanks!

All works perfectly, great plugin for content items, but... why my thumbs was generated in blank on intro text? and all with the same 1,4 Kb (I can see it in her resized cache folder)
But when I open the article news, then the resized image was generated perfectly on my choose dimensions $:-\$
I don't understand why if two images (Thumbnail and the other one in full article) was generated by the same script code, then one be showing wrong (no image only color background) and the other one right on full article.
The images comes from an external feed link.
Any ideas?

After installing imagsized plugin for Joomla 1.5 I receive an "internal server error" when opening a page containing an newly inserted image.
Any helpful hints?

It's better if I have further information about your website: the webpage or demo of error article.

Great plugin. good job.
One concern that I have is that the img src of the resized image is not search engine friendly.
For example:
When
img src="/images/stories/myphoto.jpg" is resized it becomes something like
img src="/plugins/content/imagesresizecache/a6cc2f7ba7eabf57ff1f2a6281573e4d.jpeg"
I'm not sure that these images will show up in google image search at a later date after the cache changes.

I would be good if the resized src was something more permanent e.g.
img src="/plugins/content/imagesresizecache/myphoto.jpeg"

I will rewrite plugin for more options of cached image name.

One solution is the use of atl in your IMG tag.

There are 10 article in FrontPage ,can I choose deferent Thumbnail size and number of introduction characters for first article? And other 9 articles deferent Thumbnail size and number of introduction characters??
