Key points

Countries and regions are now imported into two new database tables; jomres_countries and jomres_regions, and two new options are added to the administrator area that'll allow you to modify them.

Considerable "under the hood" changes to how language strings are used. Previously Jomres used defined constants for outputting language strings for various labels. This approach has served us well over the years, but with the increasing use of property specific language files it has become more of a hinderance than a help. As a result we've changed how language strings are used by the system, but in a way that should be backwardly compatible for users who're using their own existing language files.

All language strings defined in language files can now be translated via the Label Translation feature.

Customised language strings from language files can now be exported so that they can be used on another server. Jomres offers the ability to output an example of a new language file that uses any definitions translated in the Lable Translations feature, making it easier to copy languages across to a new server, or indeed paste into a text file that can be uploaded to the Jomres community forum, if you're feeling generous.
