Version 0.2.3 of Seyret is released. It is a native Joomla component that gives you chance to create video directories.

As it has a plugin based video server system, it is very easy to add new video server support to your component. Download plugin file, extract it under plugins/videoserver directory. That's all. Google and [youtube] plugins come with component. You can find Dailymotion, Putfile, Metacafe, Break.com, Milliyet, Pikniktube plugins in download section. Also in forums you can find an uptodate plugin requests. More plugins will come.

Adding new video is very easy that you enter only video link. Component will glean information pertaining to videos, like thumbnail address, image title, etc. Administrators will have more information about videos, but users will be able to change only video title and video details.

Another extraordinary feature of this component is video download option. If you enable video download option, your registered users will be able to download videos if supported. Now all of our plugins are with download support. For new plugins, it will be very important for us to support video download feature. Please read documents to get help about enabling video download option.

Seyret is fully customizeable in appearance. It has a theme system and if someone share a Seyret theme, you can easily use it in your site.

In this version AJAX based encoding problem is solved. Our beloved users had tested and reported that solution is successfull.

An important feature in this version is local videos. Admins can add local streaming files to their directories. Also if you enable video upload feature, users can upload their flv files.
