Hi i am trying to develop a component and what i need to do is pull a jpg file then use GD to draw lines on it. The values for these lines are determind by some values in the database.

At the moment ive got the image being created by a view.jpg.php file which is called upon via a image src in a view.html.php. I have done it this way cause i couldnt get the GD stuff to work in the view.html.php page so i tried doing it as a RAW file. Now my problem is that the view.jpg.php file will not use any database stuff.

So my main question is, is there a way to use my GD image functions (imageline()) in the view.html.php file so that i can use the values in the databse.
