MosAuthorXTD 1.5 released!

Post by zorkhh » Thu Dec 22, 2005 1:10 pm

Joomlaexpert.com has created a new version 1.5 of the popular MosAuthorXTD Mambot/Plugin. It contains some really new features:

    * You are now able to display your information in all 4 positions at once.
    * Three new placeholders have been added
    * Fixed all known problems (esp. with Joomla 1.0.4)

You can download the mambot for free. Because of the new structure of the mambot, the previous version (1.2) is still available. A description how to use the mambot is displayed in the administration-screen of the bot.

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with installing the Mambot/Plugin in Joomla 1.0.5.

Error-Message: File /www/htdocs/w006171b/~blog/media/install_43b1241c1febb/mosauthorxtd.php does not exist!

Does this Mambot/Plugin (or in general do they) install something in the database ?
Or can i just copy it to the right folder on the server ?

Thank you for help,
Stefan

Hello,

this mambot doesn't change the database. This is not what the errormessage says... Do you have the "safe-mode" on? Are you able to install other components, modules or mambots?

If you have the same problem with other installs, please search this forum for "safe mode".

Ok, to precise:

I tried the Install via -Upload Package File., which didn't work.
Give it a try now with -Install from directory-, which worked (sorry, my first time).

Safe Mode = OFF.

I don't really know actually what is going on, i'm a noob to Joomla.

Thanx for your Help
