Hey people,

Anyone remember FeedGator from Phlooid? I was released a couple of years ago and then not really supported before it disappeared and was reborn as Syndigator; which was also somewhat short-lived...

There doesn't seem to be any Open Source extension for Joomla to pull RSS feeds into a site, automatically generating content items in Joomla 1.5?

Any tips?

Aha!

I long thought Feed Gator was dead in the water - great news to hear that its been updated!

After a pretty simple process upgrading the site using the Seedling distro of Joomla, I'm glad to say that Feed Gator is powering the new Joomla Feed - http://www.joomlafeed.com !

:)

hi,

I've downloaded and installed feedgator but unless I'm missing something (instructions) i'm not getting any feeds.

Do you have some instructions?

Thanks,
Tone

Feedgator is free component and is in beta version for joomla 1.5. There is at this time no guide, instructions, support and documentation.

Use the installer - you don't need to know any folder names.
