Just updated!!!

The one new field to replace text of such:
user define => plugin content + user define

For JomComment: user define is .

WIth NEW field, you can use the idea to put extranews content at any places in your Joomla com_content text.

Ok, I just selected JomComment in the field, Extranews above Comment and I have kept the User Define field blank..

Dont know, but now nothing is shown.

I am not sure which JomComment do you use?

It's better if I have your live link or a saved html page (if your web runs locally).

As you known, some plugins can not run orderly. XxxComment usually run first. So I do a simply way by a text replace. You can fill a replaced text into user define field.
You can easily understand what the plugin does with below image for JOM COMMENT.

Hi viet4777,

I have been using this excellent plugin for a long time. Now I have moved my site, installed 2.0.8, and if I eanble this plugin then my article pages go blank. It works on the backup site on my local machine, but not on the live.
What can be the problem?

Hi, I am not sure about your problem.

Normally, It works well with PHP5. I am not sure if your site are using PHP4.

Please send me a PM your site with admin acc, I will try to fix it.

Hi Viet4777,

Thanks for great Plugin, but Query by Articles ID does not work.
I'm using SQL to import articles from another source, then it's use same date created. So can't use this plugin with "query by Recently Added" option, i changed it to Query by ID, but it's not work.
Can you fix it ?

plugin is great.
but i have one problem
plugin not work with module GTRANSLATE in "Fly mode" (use jquery lib).
if extranews logoff gtranslate work fine, if extranews on - not translate content of article.
need help in diagnostic this problem

Hi Viet4777,

I have been using your excellent plugin for over a year now, and recently upgraded from 2.0.7 to 2.0.8 in the hope of resolving the JomComment issue.

I tried three methods:

1. Selecting JomComment
2. Selecting use define: 
3. Selecting use define: 

But sadly in none of them is the related content even showing. When I select none of these, the related content shows below the comments, as you can well imagine.

Please note the plugin is enabled and the settings I have put are identical to the 2.0.7 I have been running so far. I have not installed the component, because I believe that is only required if one is using it with Joomfish. Please let me know if that is the error.

Hi...

I love your plugin... but I got something weird happening with keywords....

If I type keyword while submiting an article in the frontend, everything works fine...
BUT, if I type keyword while submitilng an article in the backend, the related items doesn't work...

Any idea on how to solve this ?

1. The SEF URLs are wrong for the popular MyBlog component. Example, the URL should be this:

gamersnexus.net/nexus/gamingblogs/crashing-lagging-and-glitching-to-victory.html

Instead, if I click on the related link to this same article from another article (in the section "Features" and category "gg"), the link is this:

gamersnexus.net/features/gg/401

2.

How do I display this plugin above the SexyBookmarks plugin? This is also important for the aesthetics of my site.

Hi Viet,

I get error same with some guy here. The articles page display in blank if I turn on the plugin. Turn it off and will be OK.
The error did not happen in local host (use xampp for window).

My host use php 5.

Hello! i've got the same problem. I've been installing the Plugin_extranews, and the pages whith articles show blank. I use PHP 5 and i've already been cleaning my cache. But the problem stills exist. Can someone who has already solved this help me please.

Great plugin.
In Joomla 1.7, Random is working great, every time it generates Random items at the bottom. But I couldn't get any Related items generate.

Does anyone has the same issue?

The related items are controlled by using "Meta Keywords" within edit mode.

You must give some words in this field. Each term are separated by comma (,).

The latest version for Joomla 1.5 and 1.6, 1.7:

Let try and see.
The default is set for the same category.

Random and related items are different.
