am I the only one that using the "categories" or "both" modes is getting a completely expanded list of categories with all their articles? I am using the "Combine Category and Article Lists" option, as it states that it should only list the articles of the current category, and not the ones of the others. is that correct?

also, in the expanded mode, I am not seeing the plus and minus icons at all, so all the tree is expanded by default, so I guess this may be somehow related with the previous error. any ideas?

i have the same problem in here

i need the articles to be listed only when i click on the category link, i have them all expanded

and that expandable option is not working

any1 got this figured out?

Use the magic of css...

Code:
.articles li.articles ul {
  /*hide the subnavs*/
  display: none;
}

I have set it up on http://www.inmotionasia.com/adventure-tours/road-cycling.html

I used ArtCats to list article items on the left column to serve as a "menu" and it worked GREAT. However, when I add more modules of different categories to the right column to serve as links to the most recent 4 articles under each selected category, it was acting wired. It was displaying SAME articles under different categories. Any advice?

Hello,

ArtCats is definitely what I need for my website... but I can't make it work ! Just installed it, set up all the parameters and it crashes every single page where I asked for it to be displayed. I have the following error message :

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/mywebsite/public_html/modules/mod_artcats/tmpl/.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php52/pear') in /home/mywebsite/public_html/modules/mod_artcats/mod_artcats.php on line 39

(I hope I am posting in the right forum, if not I'm very sorry. I'm quite a newbie... My website is running under Joomla 1.5.11).

Thanks in advance !
