hi
1
I installed power edition , all seems perfect but some components had lacking admin files, I found that in the logs so copied from other version and it worked. I was glad to see the two AKO component work together(wich is hard to setup i think because of right versions to go together)
Now the Ako comment works only with admin, none with registred nor  guest (the admin config is setup)
PLZ let me now if this is a known issue
2
Has the przemo bridge updated

hi,

i get this error during the installation

SQL=You have an error in your SQL syntax.  Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'CURRENT_TIMESTAMP on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,
  PRIMARY KEY  :
- - - - - - - - - -
CREATE TABLE `je_zoom_comments` (
  `cmtid` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
  `imgid` int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
  `cmtname` varchar(40) NOT NULL default '',
  `cmtcontent` text NOT NULL,
`cmtdate` timestamp NOT NULL default CURRENT_TIMESTAMP on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,
  PRIMARY KEY  (`cmtid`),
  KEY `imgid` (`imgid`)
) TYPE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=1

no idea what this means? can someone help

New addons:
Easy guestbook

Addons removed
Akobook
Akocomment
Bridge  for standart phpBB - not developed anymore, security threads
Bridge for phpBB forum modyfied by Przemo - this is removed only  for short time as I have to finish translating component for this bridge. It will be in 1.0.11b - quite soon.

Update

Edytor FCK
Forum Joomlaboard
Jogadgets
Letterman

Hello, i've just installed the PE 1.0.11a and tried to activate the SMF Forum.
I followed exactly the instructions in the installer and on the PE Homepage.

After i have activated the SMF, i got the following error when accessing the front-end:

Code:
Warning: main(/QueryString.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/joomla/forum/SSI.php on line 55

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/QueryString.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/joomla/forum/SSI.php on line 55

There is no file with the name QueryString.php on my whole webspace.
I used the SMF Link from the installier first (upgrade package) and then replaced the files with the full installaition package of SMF, but have the same error and still no QueryString.php.

Hmm, strange, as I just checked and this file is  in Source folder in both packages. Check directly in package if you have this file and copy it to server. Let me know if this helps.

Stone,

I have started to set this up on a local server. I have  smf_1-1-1_install.zip placed in the "joomlaPE/forum" directory but the installer is not finding them. Any suggestions?

Thank you,
David

Hi!

Thank you folks for this incredible effort. I have two copies of this running on my domain at the moment (one to check it out, and the other soon to become a love site (edit-Ha! That's funny! That was supposed to say LIVE site! I got a chuckle out of it though, so decided to leave it for the rest of you). The first copy will be gone soon)

I'm thinking long-term here and wondering about versions.

I've noticed that the Joomla version being used by PE does not include the 1.0.13 security updates. (understandable. It must have taken quite a while to put this together!)

PHPbb is also a slightly older version than the most recent. Your original post states there should be no problems with updating, but I'm wondering how simple updating PHPbb really is. Log-in for the forum is integrated. Will that login-in integration be messed up if I were to upgrade PHPbb directly from their website?

What about the Joomla upgrade to 1.0.13? Is that really as simple as installing the upgrade patch?

Sorry if this sounds like lack of faith in what you said. It isn't meant to.

I've just experienced too many mis communications in my lifetime, and want to be sure I clearly understand before I go and mess up my site. ;)

If it is as simple as intsalling patches from the component sites, am I correct in assuming that you will not be providing patches, and that we should get them from the respective component sites?

Thanks very much for this fantastic piece of work! It was exactly what I was looking for!  :D
