Bonjour,

Hope that I am posting in the correct place (I checked and it seemed appropriate as this is free and a template) but this is the slickest thing to happen to the Joomla! "backend" since 'sliced bread'!

The new, free, AdminPraise Lite from Joomlapraise !

I have installed it on a couple of sites now and it is so fast, easy to customize and, if I dare say so, much more intuitive to use than the default. Well worth one's while to check it out!

It's very nice - it's also another way to figure out how to create your own Administrative Templates, if you are technically inclined.

i will release it on some of my more "mature " users and see what they say..

I agree .. it is like a breath of fresh air.
Grant it that the standard admin template is a little slicker looking but I always hated having to click 3 time and wait for the pages to load just to go from one area to another.

The coolest item is think is the icon buttons.. I set them to be on the bottom and so they are alway on the screen just like the windows start bar and most screens are just a click away.

most of them say its great - except for those on smaller screens.
the right hand block covers the text.

@mandville - I thought that too, but all I did is go into the CSS and set the Min Width down to a "comfortable" level

It`s so nice doh am still learning how to create a website using joomla, but am gonna be good in no time...

Wow, thanks for the tip. This Admin template is sweet! Especially triply so with the fact that it was free.

It has a great layout for getting around to Joomla features. Much better.

This going to look fantastic when I hand it over to clients!
