Hey arcy, any idea about the text alignment issue? with mosimage, i can get the text to align next to the image, but with the candy thumb feature i can only align to the bottom edge of the image (hope that makes sense)

try style:=[...]

for example: {jgxtimg src:=[path2img.jpg] width:=[200] height:=[300] style:=[float:left]}

Arcy! Good to see you back. Hope you did well in your studies.

Any ideas of how imagetitle could be applied to component titles??

BTW, you haven't sent me your PayPal address. Come on, at least let me buy you a pint and a pack of smokes!

Hi,

it's weekend and I found some time to upload a more optimized and bugfixed version. I also updated some javascript libs. just visit jogadgets.com.

just another think:

I would like to have a more detailed documentation for jogadgets. but, you already experienced, I don't have that much time. So I would be thankful for every assistance.

greets

arcy

Thanks again Arcy

I got the latest version 0.3b2 and in my case the thumbs are not being created.  The  links  where thumbs should be work though.
I believe that someone else, babic, had this problem and was mentioned that it was a server problem.

All thumbs in other comps (gallery2 etc) are being created.

Alfredo

the thumbs have a link like that ././ that is not allowed in many servers right click on your thumbs that its not created and then choose properties and you will undrerstand what i mean. copy and past this url to the broswer and you will get

Script or Action Blocked

The requested URL //_jgfw_/cls/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=../../../asterisk.png&w=100&fltr[]=gray contains a script or action that has has been deteremined unsafe. It has been disabled to prevent abuse.

I have my content in an iframe. Anyone have an idea of how to have the gallery images open over the parent frame?

Thanks for your quick reply. O well - it was a long shot. I adjusted the page to work with it - awesome mambot!

One more question - how did you get the nice spacing between your gallery items. Mine are right against each other.

Somehow, my close buttons are broken, the images also tend to not center correctly if big.

hello

1. awesome start..this is really cool
2. also problem with the small images in the gallery in FF
3. large images in gallery are showing ok BUT I have already some flash embedded on the template> and the images display under the flash. any way to set the z-index stacking order of the big pics in the gallery?

thanks,
keep going this is fantatstic!

**edit**

2- more info: pth for thumbnail in the candyGallery is like this:

Code:
<img src="http://www.rockout.ch/_jgfw_/cls/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=../../../images/gallery/32John_in_action.jpg&w=100&fltr[]=gray" alt="32John_in_action.jpg" title="32John_in_action.jpg" border="0" >

also interesting:

the single image code works fine with the thumbnail, paths look like this:

Code:
<img src="_jgfw_/cls/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=http://www.rockout.ch/images/gallery/32John_in_action.jpg&w=100&h=" border="0" />

3-solved:ok, i solved the issue about the image dispaying 'under' or 'behind^the flash in my template.

for anyone else, the answer is

Add the following parameter to the OBJECT tag:

Add the following attribute to the EMBED tag:

wmode="transparent"

Hi,

Great work! The mambot is simply awesome.

I have found two minor issues:

1.  If I want to watch large images through the gallery function and a 1024 px high image is displayed, a part of the screen at the bottom is not covered with the balck background.  As if the background layer was not made long enought to exceed the length of the screen as it was at the moment of the image activation.

2.  Entering a table with 100% width in the infobox makes the contend exceed the right border of the box during showing and hiding movements. I am using IE 6.0 (...I saw it working fine in other browsers )

Good luck!

Add the following code to "template_css.css"

ul.tabbernav, ul.tabbernav li {
background: none;
}

I've read through these forums and have not found a solution so maybe someone can help.

I'm using joomla 1.8, OpenSef 5 sp2, jogadgets .3b2 [galllery only]

Here is scenario 1 - Joomla Cache turned on:

1.  Save content with jogadget Mambot script written in.
2.  Goto site http://www.htsolutionsllc.com
3.  Test Gallery by clicking on the image (everything works fine and image borders show up).
4.  Refresh site click on image (image boarder are missing and I am directed to the actual path of the image).

Here is scenario 2 - Joomla Cache turned on:

1.  Go to site (everything works fine)
2.  Refresh site (everything works fine)
3.  Use IE (everything works fine)

It looks like having joomla cache turned on breaks it for me.  Anyone have a suggestion?  ???

Thanks

Hey all.  All the advice and support in this thread has been great!  I love this bot!

I followed the advice below but can't find the word 'gray' anywhere in jgfw.php.  Has it been moved?  I too would like my gallery thumbs to be in color rather than black and white.  What part did I miss?

Quote:
open the file jgfw.php and make a search and replace for "&fltr[]=gray"...that's it!

If you look in your server error log there may be a clue as to why the thumbnails aren't working.  For me it was a file permissions issue.  I had to set the thumbnail directory to 744 instead of 755 and make sure that all the php files were set to 644.

K I corrected my issue...for some reason the release I had didn't come with a js library, so I got another release, and just added it in, works great now...
