I need to create a photo-contest site

Hello

I was searching through the forums and extension directory to find a way to do the following:

- Photo contest website
- Users must pay a subscription to participate
- User can submit their photos, the photos are resized, and held for moderation
- A moderator checks the photos and allows them to be available for the public

I guess i need several extensions to achieve this, i really don't know where to start. I pre-apologize if the answer is obvious or already answered.

well, after some time, i found a way...

commnity builder and nant profile gallery did the trick...

The few things you can use are:

Community Builder
Profile Gallery (CB)
AEC (Account Expiration Control)

I would wait till Community Builder comes out with the Subscription System built onto it. It would be much easier to control.

I found this on google, it is a script. But, for these types of things you usually need to do it yourself. Hope this helps a little bit!

The guys there supported me a lot to create my photo competitions

They even made some customizations in a matter of hours

Component installed perfectly, with sample sections and photos.

Hi Pantelis. I see that you are project manager of this component.
I realy like this extension, but unfortunately it is "only" for J1.5.
It is written that soon will be available for J2.5 too, but it si the same for months now.

I even contacted you from the site itself, but no answer.
I would like to buy the component, but I'm not sure if I can't get any feedback from you. I couldn't find any feedback on joomla extensions site neither. The component seems a 5 star one, but the conection is also important.
