I am looking for a drop down menu the same as this site http://www.thebestof.co.uk/  I want to have an area like manchester split into different areas. I have tried using extended menu but i could not get it to work, it kept on coming up with an error

If anyone can help me find a great menu extension then that would be great
regards

tim

Check out SW Menu Pro. Does all that and more - in a very attractive way. Very customizable.

Actually, SwMenuFree would do the same thing.

Hi tim,

Y cant u try this - http://demo.rockettheme.com/. Select a template from the list box in the top and you can see various menu effects. Its purely CSS and JS hence XHTML pure. I am deploying this - has lot lot lot of features and effects.

Thanks

Is that the RokMooMenu? I agree, that looks really nice too. I'd put that one right up there amongst them all. How easy is it to configure the settings for menu though? Do you have to have a fairly good knowledge of css, any specialized scripting for RokMoo or MooTools or is there a WYSIWYG editor in the Joomla backend like there is with SWMenu? (I don't put it that way as a "put down", I really am interested since I've considered using it before) And is there a free version as well? I think our original poster will want to know these things too in their menu system considerations.

Hi Sd12013,

Yes, you need a good knowledge in CSS to configure the Menu - because this menu is something that works using CSS.

You dont have a WYSIWYG editor to modify this like SWMenu. you need to work / customize in the CSS files ony.

By having few expereince with this RokMoo / MooTools Menu I can say that they are easy to configure but not that easy too.

  good Luck! Give a try!!

thanks
